DISTRICT 1

As a lover of Ho Chi Minh City, you must have heard about District 1, at least once. District 1 is home to many government agencies, consulates, and high-rise buildings that make up a good portion of Ho Chi Minh City’s skyline – and it continues to change as HCMC as an economic hub continues to develop.

DISTRICT 4

The strength of District 4 is its geographical location – it is known as a “bridge” – connecting two large districts – District 1 and District 7. District 4’s administrative map exhibits that:

District 4 is bordered by District 1 on its northwest side with Ben Nghe Canal serving as the boundary

District 4 is bordered by District 5 at its western point where Ben Nghe Canal and Kenh Te Channel begin.

District 4 is bordered by District 7 and small part of District 8 on the south side

District 4 is also home to two major universities: Ho Chi Minh City University of Law and Nguyen Tat Thanh University.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Law is located on a busy street – Nguyen Tat Thanh, opposite Nha Rong Wharf, and is one of the most famous universities for legal studies in Vietnam. it has been appointed to become a key law school in the South.

Nguyen Tat Thanh University is well-known for its modern equipment. Recently, Nguyen Tat Thanh University has been recognized by the Ministry of Education and Training for meeting quality accreditation standards and has been recognized by the British Accreditation Organization (QS – Stars) as a 3-star standard.

BINH THANH DISTRICT

Binh Thanh District is conveniently located in the northern part of Ho Chi Minh City adjacent to Go Vap and Phu Nhuan Districts, as well as Districts 1 and 12, and Thu Duc City.

The significance of Binh Thanh District is that it serves as the gateway of the North-South Railway. It is evident that Ho Chi Minh City has focused on developing and improving traffic infrastructure – investments in upgrading and renovating main roads allows one to move between districts via major routes consisting of modern infrastructure. With the modern development of the transportation system, one may now travel to the city center in just a few minutes.  Once there, one may conveniently find the ancient buildings in the middle of the city or right behind the tall buildings, where there are several small alleys that have preserved the cultural values that have existed for so long.

People here work very hard, but they also enjoy life a lot. Within Binh Thanh District, as well as the neighboring districts there are many places in which to have fun and meet with friends after a long, tiring day of work.

The food here is in abundance and offers regional as well as famous international dishes. Tourists truly love to explore street food here, and Saigon has a lot of features that that should not be missed.
